This company, better known, as the Alfa Romeo Automobiles S.p.A. is a car making company based in Italy that was founded way back in the 1910 and is associated with the Fiat Company since 1986.
There are some people who know that this company was originally known as the A.I.F.A. this word is an acronym for the term Anonima Lombarda Fabbrica Automobili. This is in the Italian language and when one translates the same into English the meaning of the same becomes the Lombard Automobile Factory, Public Company). While there are many Alfa Romeo owners, few of them know about the history of this car and it is imperative for them to know the same in case anyone asks it.
In fact there are few people who know that this car was founded and is manufactured in Italy. Those of them that drive the Alfa Romeo car hardly know that the Alfa Romeo was initially founded as the SAID (Società Anonima Italiana Darracq). This was done in the year 1906 and was done by a French automobile company that was owned by Alexandre Darracq. There were contributions from some Italian investors too in this company.
